What is RPF SI Exam?
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Sub-Inspector (SI) Exam is a national-level competitive examination conducted by the Indian Railways to recruit candidates for the position of Sub-Inspector in the RPF and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
Purpose of the Exam
To maintain law and order, ensure passenger safety, and protect railway property.

Negative Marking | 1/3rd mark deduction for every incorrect answer. |
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
PET Details: | o Male: 1600 meters run in 6 minutes 30 seconds, high jump (3 feet 9 inches), long jump (12 feet). o Female: 800 meters run in 4 minutes, high jump (3 feet), long jump (9 feet). |
PMT Details: | Height and chest measurements are specific to gender and category. |

- Verification of educational, caste, and identity documents for shortlisted candidates.
Syllabus Overview
General Awareness:
Topics | Indian history, culture, and freedom struggle. Current events (national and international). Indian Constitution, polity, and governance. Economic development and environmental issues. |
