The SBI PO Notification 2024 has been released, providing all the essential details candidates need to know before applying online. SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2024
Before applying for the SBI PO Recruitment 2024, candidates must check the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria to ensure that they are eligible to appear for the SBI exam 2024. Here we are providing the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria details, which consist of nationality, age limit and educational qualification:-
(a) Nationality:
The candidate should be an Indian citizen for applying in the SBI PO Recruitment 2024.
(b) Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old as of 01.04.2024, meaning they should have been born between 02.04.1994 and 01.04.2003 (both dates inclusive) for the SBI PO.

(c) Educational Qualification
To apply for the SBI PO examination, a candidate should have below-mentioned academic qualifications:-
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised University in any discipline or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Candidates in their Final Year/Semester of Graduation can also apply for the SBI PO Position provisionally. However, if selected for an interview, they must provide proof of graduating by December 31, 2024.
- For candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificates, the completion date of the IDD program must be on or before December 31, 2024.
- Candidates with qualifications in fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, Cost, Accountancy and similar qualifications are also eligible to apply.
SBI PO Application Process
To apply for the SBI PO 2024 Exam, candidates must complete the online registration process through the official website. The registration will only be considered complete once the application fee is successfully paid online before the deadline of 16 January 2025.

- Go to the SBI website and click on the “NEW REGISTRATION” tab.
- Fill in your personal and educational details, including category information, disability status, previous SBI employment, etc.
- Review the form carefully, agree to the terms and conditions, and submit it. Registration details will be sent to your email and mobile via SMS.
- Upload the required documents, such as your photograph, signature, and handwritten declaration, in the prescribed format.
- Complete the payment of the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- Click on “Submit” to complete the process. Make sure to download and print the final application for future reference.

- The SBI PO Preliminary Examination will be an online Objective Test with a total of 100 marks.
- The test will consist of 3 sections, each with separate timing.
- Candidates will need to answer a total of 100 questions within a 1-hour duration.
- The Preliminary Examination will not have any sectional cut-off.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern
- The Main Examination will be conducted online and will comprise two parts: an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test.
- The Objective Test will have a total duration of 3 hours and will consist of 4 sections with separate timing for each section.
- The Objective Test will carry 200 marks, while the Descriptive Test will carry 50 marks and must be completed in 30 minutes.
- The Descriptive Test will take place immediately following the completion of the Objective Test. Candidates will need to type their answers for the Descriptive Test on the computer.
- To qualify for the Main Examination, candidates are required to achieve a minimum score in each section of the Objective Test (Test I, II, III, and IV) as well as in the Descriptive Test.

SBI PO Interview Pattern
- Phase-III of the selection process will consist of three rounds which is the 3Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Personal Interview
- The minimum qualifying marks for this phase will be decided by the Bank.
- Candidates must qualify independently in both Phase-II (Main Examination) and Phase-III.
- The marks obtained in Phase-II (both the Objective and Descriptive Tests) will be combined with the marks from Phase-III to prepare the final merit list.

SBI PO Final Selection 2024
- Candidates must qualify both Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
- Marks obtained in Phase II (Main Examination - Objective and Descriptive) will be added to Phase III (Group Exercise & Interview) marks to create the final merit list.
- Marks obtained in Phase-I (Preliminary Examination) will not be considered in the final merit list.
- Marks of Phase-II (Main Examination) and Phase-III (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalised to a total of 100 marks.
