- Full Form: Uttar Pradesh Sub-Inspector Exam.
- Conducting Body: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).
- Purpose: Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department.
- Role: Sub-Inspectors are responsible for maintaining law and order, investigating crimes, and leading a team of constables in the UP Police Department.

- Candidate must be a citizen of India.

- Minimum Age: 21 years.
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as of the specified cutoff date).

Exam Pattern
The UPSI exam consists of four stages:
- Written Exam: Objective-based online test.
- Document Verification: Verification of eligibility documents.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Evaluation of physical fitness.
- Medical Examination: Assessment of physical health and vision.

- Female Candidates: 2.4 km in 16 minutes.

Vision Standards:
- Without glasses: 6/6 and 6/9.
- With glasses: 6/12 and 6/9.
- Candidates should not have color blindness, flat foot, or knock knee.
